ETHICAL STATEMENT

Daniels & Company believes that all victims of no-fault accidents should be able to pursue their claim for compensation without worrying about legal costs and deductions from their damages.  We are dedicated to giving back to clients the control they deserve when they suffer an accident.

We are accredited members of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and support their efforts to improve consumer awareness and to let clients know that they can and should only instruct specialist solicitors when bringing a personal injury claim.

We are aware that the practices of some of the companies promoting personal injury services have left the public disillusioned with the industry as a whole, including:

  • victims being led into funding arrangements that have ultimately involved them in giving up a percentage of their damages to the claims management company;

  • victims being persuaded that they may only use their insurer's panel solicitors, who are often outside their locality and whom the client never meets face-to-face;

  • victims being sold expensive and unnecessary insurance policies to protect them against their liability for costs;

  • victims being led into costly credit agreements to fund the premium of any such insurance policy.

Daniels & Company: Ethical, Professional, Specialist Personal Injury Solicitors

At Daniels & Company we believe the the client's freedom to instruct the solicitor of his choice is paramount. Our initial face-to-face meeting is invaluable in establishing the relationship between our client and the solicitor handling his claim.  See our Client Care Promise here.

Personal injury work can be very demanding and complex and it is best carried out by people who specialise in this area and who are fully qualified solicitors, with APIL and Law Society accreditation.

Clients should never be at risk of paying costs, whether they win or lose their claim, and should not need to buy expensive insurance policies as a matter of course at the beginning of a claim.  Neither should there be any need to enter into a credit agreement or agree to hand over a percentage of their damages.  Daniels & Company's Conditional Fee Agreement provides you with financial peace of mind, whatever the outcome of your claim.  If you are successful, you will keep 100% of any damages you are awarded.
